BRIMUS is a company founded in 2006 which deals with marketing and consulting as well as with the distribution of analytic measurement instruments. The company was founded by Bernward Rittgerodt who brings with him his 40-year-old experience in the field of Chromatography.
Mr. Rittgerodt already started to gain first experiences in the area of thin-layer-, paper- and column chromatography in 1966, while working in the Bayer concern in Leverkusen. After studying engineering technology at the university of applied science of Münster in 1974, he participated considerably in the introduction of HPLC at Agfa-Gevart, at this time a subsidiary company of Bayer. In the analytical field there, he collected additional experience in the area of gas chromatography and spectroscopy.
Bernward Rittgerodt gained his first experiences in selling products in 1984, when he was employed first as a sales engineer, later as a sales manager at the company E. Merck, Darmstadt. During that time, he promoted chromatography products all over German speaking countries.
From 1995 on, he worked for the company Dr. Herbert Knauer, which is located in Berlin as a chief executive officer (CEO). There, he operated worldwide in the field of development, marketing and distribution, and set a course with the development of the company, so that it reached the status of an international approved trendsetter in the area of HPLC.
